Ty Montgomery, Chairperson

montgomeryTy Montgomery is a Family Nurse Practitioner who currently specializes in skilled nursing facility and long-term-care medicine. He maintains a clinical practice and manages the SNF-Northern Arizona Region for IPC, The Hospitalist Company. Ty holds undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Communication studies, and a Master’s in Nursing. Prior to beginning his nursing career in 2001, he worked for nearly 13 years as a paramedic and firefighter for several municipal fire agencies in Iowa. Corrie Cooperman, Clerk

coopermanCorrie Cooperman is a registered nurse with a B.S. from San Francisco State University. Over her lifelong career in nursing, she has held management positions and specialized in physical rehabilitation, psychiatric nursing, and, since 2007, she has maintained a private practice in wellness education. In 2011, she was a member of the Chapel Fire Station Study Committee commissioned by the SFD Governing Board. An avid hiker, Ms. Cooperman resides in the Chapel area with her husband and three dogs. Tim Ernster

Tim has been a resident of Sedona since June 2009. During his career, he served as City Manager of Sedona, Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu City, and held other managerial and administrative positions in the Cities of Glendale, Scottsdale, and Tempe. He has extensive knowledge and experience in financial management and in Arizona’s Open Meeting and Public Records laws. The co-owner of Range Dog Publishing, Tim serves as President of the Rotary Club of Sedona. He holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Sociology from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Arizona State University. E-mail: Tim Ernster

Abe Koniarsky

Abe has been a resident of Sedona since 2004. He has over 30 years of diverse experience in municipal government with emphasis in finance and human resources. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and a M.A. in Government/International Relations/Public Administration from New York University. Dave Soto

Dave Soto is a retired Fire Captain from the Los Angeles City Fire Department. His career spans 35 years from firefighting through management. Dave is the past president of the Broken Arrow Civic Improvement Association serving three consecutive terms, a current member of the YCSO Verde Valley Search and Rescue Posse, a committee member of the SFD 9/11 Memorial Plaza building project, and a member of the Greater Verde Valley Emergency Services – Shared Services Committee. He is also an avid artist currently showing his work in a local gallery. Dave lives in the Broken Arrow area with his wife Virginia and their two dogs. E-mail: Dave Soto
