Celebrating EMS Week: Honoring Those Who Care for Everyone

The Sedona Fire District is proud to join communities across the country in recognizing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, taking place May 18–24, 2025. This year marks the 51st anniversary of EMS Week, with the theme: “EMS Week: We Care. For Everyone.”

On May 20th, the Sedona Fire District Governing Board officially proclaimed this important week as EMS Week in our district, acknowledging the unwavering commitment, compassion, and expertise of our EMS professionals.

From paramedics and EMTs to dispatchers and first responders, our team works 24/7 to deliver lifesaving care and bridge gaps in healthcare—both in moments of crisis and through ongoing preventive efforts like follow-up care and telemedicine access.

EMS is more than emergency response—it’s a system of dedicated individuals who care deeply about the well-being of our entire community.

We invite everyone in Sedona to take a moment this week to thank the EMS professionals who are always ready to respond, protect, and serve.
